Good evening to one and all.

I may have slightly mislead you with my last post when I said that it was a little damp here in Morgado, there are some areas of casual water which have now been designated small swimming pools!

Today however has seen a vast improvement in the weather conditions and without wanting to tempt fate we have not seen any rain and have in fact had blue sky. The green-keeping staff have been busy pumping water out of the bunkers in preparation for the start of the competition tomorrow, the promotional signage is being erected as I type and the boys are busy practising.

Later this afternoon they will be attending a rules seminar with the match referees where they can ask all the necessary questions about the rules of golf and ask what equipment is allowed like yardage meters and small submarines, in fairness we think we have seen the worst of the weather and both courses are drying out very quickly.

Later at 8pm this evening we will all be attending a reception buffet where the draw will be made for the competition and we will find out who our competitors are for the next few days once this is known I will send another report along with their start times for the morning.
