Sun sets on another great day

This was never going to be easy and today presented probably our greatest challenge for a variety of reasons, the opposition had to win to have any chance of reaching the final, the weather at this time of year is barmy and again today the wind made the course very difficult and most of all Beadlow Manor were looking to upset the odds and qualify for the final.

At precisely 6pm as the sun went down over Morgado the final putt of the match was sunk and Beadlow Manor secured a 31/2 to 21/2 win over Mold Golf Club, three from three!

Another great set of performances with the standard of golf exceptionally high, so high in fact we had one player finish his round four under his handicap and he lost the match two and one. But again there were some great performance with Ben finishing his match early with an eight and seven victory and Lewis coming back in a match where he was never in front and three holes down with three to play he sunk the final putt on the 18th to give us the half point we needed for the win and the match.

There are many superlatives we could use to describe the quality of golf and the performances but quite frankly they are leaving us speechless; this team have forgotten how to lose. Beadlow Manor are in the National Junior Team Final . I will let that sink in …
